Your comity application expires if: You become licensed; You withdraw your application in writing; Your application is denied; 30 days pass after a denial for character and fitness or eligibility; or You fail to respond within 6 months after the Board contacts you post-investigation. Admission by Comity allows qualified, experienced attorneys licensed in other U.S. jurisdictions to be admitted in Tennessee without taking the Tennessee bar exam.
